About Us
Shanna Stauffacher, Program Administrator and Instructor, teaches the DWI Education Class. She is a Texas State certified elementary education teacher and driver's education instructor.
Alcohol Awareness Associates was founded in 1999 by Shanna Stauffacher. Her goal was to help educate people who have received an alcohol-related citation. The first program offered was the Alcohol Education Program for Minors in our Kingwood location. Over the years demand grew and we branched out to other nearby cities and counties. In 2015 Ms. Stauffacher earned her DWI Education Instructor certification from The Texas Department of State Health Services. We now offer the DWI Education Program for first time offenders. Ms. Stauffacher is a former elementary school teacher and is also certified and has worked as a driving instructor. Ms. Stauffacher enjoys teaching and looks forward to providing you with a high quality learning experience which will help you gain the knowledge to make wise decisions in your future where alcohol is involved.
